1/23/2010
COLUMBUS, Ohio (January 2010) – The Columbus Literacy
Council will entertain the central Ohio community with its 21st
annual Alphabet Attractions fund-raising event. This year’s event is themed
around the letter “V” with a “reView, Columbus Literacy Council Celebrating 40
Years.” The highly anticipated black-tie optional event will take place on
Friday, March 5, 2010, from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at the Columbus Metropolitan
Library.
Guests will get an unforgettable night as we enjoy the delicious
food and entertainment. Beautifully themed hors d’oeuvres will be served by Made
From Scratch.
A live auction and raffle will occur throughout the evening.
The many wonderful packages include a personal chef service, magnificent trips,
OSU football tickets, gourmet wine baskets, autographed sports memorabilia,
gift certificates and many other great items!
Alphabet Attractions is very important to the Columbus
Literacy Council. Proceeds from this fabulous celebration help the Columbus
Literacy Council continue providing free education to better adult literacy for
native and non-native English speakers. The event began in 1987 with the letter
“A” and has successfully continued through the letters of the alphabet since
its start.
Tickets to the gala are $100 per person or $150 per couple.
To purchase tickets, please contact Corinne Lacy, Special Projects Coordinator,
at 614-221-5013, ext. 210, or by e-mail at clacy@columbusliteracy.org.
